Sandover Pinder was commissioned by Oceanis Underwater World Group to design two state-of-the-art aquarium complexes in China. Nanjing boasts a 12,000sqm, four-level entertainment centre including an oceanarium with 80m underwater acrylic tunnel, multimedia entertainment level and food hall. In Beijing, a 7,500sqm, two-level oceanarium and entertainment centre has been developed in the base of a telecommunications tower. It includes a 75m underwater acrylic tunnel, simulation theatres and food hall. Sandover Pinder has also undertaken the masterplanning of two 16 hectare aquatic theme parks in Macau and Wuhan, both with Underwater Worlds, multimedia centres and dolphinariums.
